VMware Fusion 3 Up and Running
The eval key I requested finally showed up about 7 hours later. I got Fusion 3 installed and it’s quite nice. Lots of little touches that help - like the menu bar doesn’t automatically appear at the top of the screen. Instead, it has the smaller VMware menu like in Player or Workstation.
The Aero performance in Windows 7 is a little disappointing right now. I’m not sure if I didn’t give it enough resources or could still tweak some settings, but it’s not 100% smooth. I’ll also try changing to the 9600 chip from the 9400 and see if that helps at all.
